If she would come to me here...
Now... the sun sunken behind the sky...
Only small jets of light, racing though the trees and buildings, imitating

flames and life...
Into them I hide... Into the low sun...
If she would only come to me here...
Moving into the cool night...
Everything at rest, save my body and mind...
I would fall at her feet...
I would rest my head on her knee...
While her hands wash across my face... my head...
Hearing her breath softly... quietly... above me...
I would lie so still... tasting every moment...
As if I were the dead... but feeling everything...
Her breath... her face... her...
Stealing this ache from me...
If she would only come...
