Oh the Possibilites

Oh the Possibilites

A Poem by Susan M. Fenn
"

I love the fall, and playing at the park!

"

Oh the possibilities

As limitless as the trees

Flying, and stretching

Legs reaching the sky

Swing butterfly swing,

Higher and higher you fly

Dreaming and giggling

As only you can

Touch the clouds with your toes

Is that a dragon you see?

Press further and further

Separating the branch from the tree

Laughter echoing

As I walk in the park

Watching the little ones

Dance from the spark

Imagination takes them higher

Into the sky

Higher than the swings made by modern kind

The clouds hold castles

Not made of sand

But of summer's sweet kisses

And Fall is the maiden within

In the clear blue

A knight rides to her keep

To rescue the princess from her deep sleep

So, swing little ones

High into the sky

For Princess Fall is coming

Dropping down from the sky
