Black Raven.

Black Raven.

A Poem by La Luna

Morning.
Dark consumed the sky.
Clouds sucked by the fading stars
Just the moon fighting the sun
Somewhere far away.

I hear death
It speaks to me in dry languages
I cannot recall.
Familiarity overtakes
but dies like the rest of memories.

Feathers flatter, beneath the sky
Above the earth.
Ink swirls from the tree far ahead
No spirit dares to wonder,
In this empty path.

Just the flicker of the wind
Whispering sweet tunes
To my blind ears.

"I have come for you"
Says the raven in black
Descending from the air
So graceful
It leaves no traces of feathers.

Author's Note

La Luna
One of those dark winter morning you wake up by noise of the birds outside.
One morning i looked outside and i saw many ravens standing on a tree observing the street no one was there, it was kind of scary to be honest. But made me write this poem, funny huh? :) Enjoy.

I've never thought of an image of a crow as being a swirl of ink flowing from a tree leaving an empty path, a void that no one dares to trespass. This was very creative of you.
