Sunshine Butterfly

Removal of ones hat, bowing at anothers brilliance

Your so much greater than others give you credit for

Within you the grays create a harmony

The horizon of safety for those looking for a shore

Your colored words always manage to add flavor

Finding similarities in the worldwide familiar strangers

Never a child, merely misunderstood

Shouting out loud when others fear to murmur

You built the bridges as we tried to tunnel out

Remembering all the past words that sing as a song

Handing out help so that we can live and breathe

You gave strength when questioned whether another wrong

Would make it right, strength when I needed to be alone

Through your words I can live my life like it has meaning

Your words are needed like anothers gaze and embrace

Poetic inspirer able to see the buried treasure gleaming

Contact the living while remembering the dead

Always something to learn, repetition proves its worth

Caps lock poet who took the moment to make everything clear

Without those moments the phoenix would not of had a rebirth

Cant walk away, yet no need to feel so afraid

Colors last a lifetime though they fade to gray

Your always taking the moment in sunsets making it visible

Explosion of unlimited color with every single word you say

When Death is cheating us somehow, standing here behind us all

Running from the darkness, your mirror is my hope

Against timeless enemies you have stood so tall

The faceless monsters who with tempt razors and rope

A Saviour some have called, yet constantly you defy even that standard

Exceeding the barriers you go farther than those in between

Hold your head high even when your in times of need

As you save us, we are here, sweat from your brow does gleam

Artworked magic by one who stands the test of time

Courtney, my friend, you hold the broken pieces of those damned

And thanks to you, personally I can weather the storm

B******s try to bring your end yet they are merely grains of sand

So fly onward ray of sunshine with black butterfly wings

About
Misery is one of my nicknames, it at one point all that I was for both myself, as well as for those around me. I was vile, I was cruel, and I do stil retain the ability to be as such, but Ive learned .. more..
