Briny Coast

Briny Coast

A Poem by Lunaitra

It's our briny coast, that we boast the most
Lay our soaking souls to dry
So come explore, from shore to shore
Under the Scotian salt sky

As the rust turns to dusk, It's freedom we lust
Light a fire to cut through the night
A far off fog horn, cries to those whom we mourn
As the mighty blue heron takes flight

May the fog fill your lungs and the sand take your toes
As the dark sea churns and conspires
Let it sweep you away, with the mist of the bay
A new lease on life, you'll acquire

It's our briny coast, that we boast the most
Lay our soaking souls to dry
So come explore, from shore to shore
Under the Scotian salt sky
