Anima Errantium

Anima Errantium

A Poem by LupusTacita

Gypsy souls know no roots nor foundation,

They know only the wind.

It carries them where none else may go,

Singing lyrics the envy of bards and minstrels,

Whatever may come is not but the flow.

Life is but correlated paths through a forest,

Not matters but the scenery.

These avenues we choose, and have chosen,

Showcase and display that which surrounds,

Hidden in jade, we overlook, and are frozen.

But they know the truth presented to us,

And bear the key for all.

Not of metallurgy, with no burden of tangibility,

But of ethereal origins, faith incarnate;

Quintessence need not be within visibility.
