Wishes

I wrote this a long time ago....three years go....enjoy!

I walk down the halls
Of our junior high school
But you don't notice me at all
Sometimes I wish.

You say "hi" when you see me out
But when your friends are there
"Hey" is what you'll never shout
Sometimes I wish.

I miss when we were friends
I liked you and you knew
Little did I know I'd never see that smile again
Sometimes I wish.

I know I can never have you
You will never love me
But, I'll love you no matter what you do
Sometimes I wish.

I wish you'd give me a chance
So I can prove to you
That I'm worthy enough for you to say, "May I have this dance?"
Sometimes I wish.

But, wishes don't come true.

Oh young crushes are sooo hard and feel so deep... I like the youth and honesty in this writing.. making me feel 16 all over again!!! Thank you and keep it up... you have pretty good flow and a talent to always to strive to make better! Never stop writing.. always some one out there who can relate! Your ending is so sad and some wishes do come true but alot of crushes don't work out but they certainly hurt if we have been rejected! =)
