discovering all things new and different

crawls towards my toes

teasing me

opening the door to my soul

and then accepting me

not for the woman i should be

but the one i truly am

and the one you are, is one of my favorite people and poets Lydi.... as I read, I could feel the sand between my toes and the coolness of the waves and I remember just how "nice" your poetry is and the feelings it radiates....

There is something so powerful and calming about the situation ocean. Sitting on the shore allowing the water to tickle your toes and feeling comfortable with who you are and not what others want you to be.

There are lines in here that we all should listen to. Accept ourselves for who we are and not what others think we should be. I love the imagery of the ocean to get this idea across.
