Regret ( tanka )

Regret ( tanka )

A Poem by Lynn Mary
"

Waiting around for things to happen. .

"
waiting for something
that may never ever come
regret takes it's toll
the color drains from your face
your world then in black and white.

This one reflects the situation of many people. Hope eventually turns to regret. The antidote is to learn how to go within.
