my heart and soul are sorry for..

things i did that made you mad
things i said that made you sad
all the times i felt i had to lie
even for that time you cried

our time together i wasted
with confusion and frustration
all the while i should have been
just happy loving you

in our arguments i blame you
but i know its mostly down to me
i cant take back what i've said
or the things i've done
in the end.. whats done is done
our lives have gone on
and its only now i realise
you are the one

to not see your smile
to not feel your hugs
to never hear you say
i love you..
this is what i fear the most

i never really appreciated
the truth of your words
the kindness of your help
the warmth of your love

i took you for granted
and for this i am such a fool
i can say i am sorry or i love you
but i know this will not do
only my actions can make up
for what i have done to you

if letting you go is what i have to do
then i need you to know
i'll never forget the time i had with you
because my heart will always belong to you

if i could make one wish i would have to say
erase his pain so i can see him smile at me
once again..
