Sensual Silence

Sensual Silence

A Poem by M. Kari

Sensual silence, sultry and sweet

Grant me reprieve from chaos and sound

Into my bower join my retreat

Velvety softness absorbs all around

Cacophony calmed creation confined

Passion conceived with you on my mind

Silence in tandem love redefined

Rewarded with peace when sound we do bind

Silence so sensual, silence surreal

Sweetly I crave sensations to feel

The goal of every boatswains' mate at the carnival rides. A tall glass of sensual silence, sipped slowly... what a wonderful picture you detail, M.. So fully in mesh with your stated background too. One can muster little surprise at the probable inspiration for this piece! :)

Well done.

I love it. How often we do crave just a moment of peace, of nothingness. Of silence, sensual as it can be.
