Moon Child

Moon Child

Moon Child

Her eyes have watched a million years of beauty
always there to stir the oceans and the seas
her tidings are both rhythmical and calming
as coastlines are caressed so easily

Her light reflects the sculptured midnight scenery
in the blues and blacks of full shadowed regale
her quality enlightens every footstep
though her light can sometimes be considered pale

From time to time she hides behind disguises
they change as clouds are driven through the night
there is no sweeter face to fill an evening
than when the Moon is bathed in bright sunlight

This Poem is very beautiful. I love how you artistically describe the features of the moon.
