Night Music 

 

 

Cricket's sing just out of sight

beneath the blue white of

moonlight

which fills the eye

and seems so bright

sweet music of the night

 

Stillness swallows my repent

beneath this universal tent

How could it not be heaven sent

this peaceful relaxed feeling

 

Songs control the late night hours

slay you with musical powers

calm you like a meteor shower

you can't look away

 

A sudden spectacle in sight

shooting bright light in the night

fading till it's out of sight

sweet music in the night
