Plagiarized Love

Plagiarized Love

A Poem by Grey
"

I never liked this poem. I wrote it in 2010

"

He took my words right out my heart,
and used them on her.
Plagiarized feelings he gave his other significant other from the start.

What a gave him was true,
she only received a copy.
Secondhand emotions-nothing new.

I gave him love and he twisted and turned it for his mistress,
one way chain of events,
he had a mess.

If i told him i loved him he would tell her too,
he did what i did,
and neither of us knew.

Every time i would call he would talk to her after,
saying word for word what i told him about how i felt,
telling her they should start a new chapter.

She thought that's how he really felt but really it was all me.
She fell for him and my words,
the words that she thought actually came from he.

It's against the law to plagiarize,
he was bound to get caught.
He shouldn't have done it no matter what the prize.

So he did get caught and now hes in jail,
instead of having two girls he has none,
and he's left to think about what hes done in his cell.

This could be a great poem. You just have to refine the construction. I have written a lot of poem like this and the construction will help the flow. Take out the extra unneeded words and get to the point of the matter in some lines. You will see that this poem reads better and you will enjoy it better.

I am a random, lazy writer. If I don't write it when I think it or when I'm in the mood it will never happen. I try. Aspiring to be a Journalist. Criticism is welcomed. It's not me, but I like it: .. more..
