In despair

In despair

A Poem by Milissa Mukade
"

When I wrote this I was having an off day. I suffer from bouts of depression and was suggested that I write my feelings when it happens.

"

My heart is sinking in the bottom of despair.
And all I can do is gasp for air.

Why is it so hard any more?
All I want to do is to close that door.

To let no one in,
in the case it would end.

My heart is breaking and I know not why,
Nothing helps not even a blue clear sky.

All I see all I feel,
none of it seems real.

There is a hole in my chest,
and I cant fill it though I try my best.

I just sit here and cry,
all I want to do is to lay down and die.

But there are things we must do,
and they must be done before we are through.

Even with that thought in mind I still do not know what to do.
Maybe it would help if I would ask you.....

I think it's great! I can relate to it, sometimes it feel like there's a big hole inside us, an then things we value go out from it...I think everyone go through this kind of stuff sometimes... It's nice :)
