HARMONY

HARMONY

A Poem by MICHAEL

Believe my harmonica

     is wrapped in cellophane

beneath my bottom

     dresser drawer

It bubbles and blows

     sweet fruits of alone

29 palms

     and sheets all alone

Duplicity plays a part

     split the problem in 2

Life takes on art

     Art imitates life

Memphis predilection

     Oh, mama

you know what I need

but she knows what I want
