Logical Restraints

Logical Restraints

A Poem by Morgan Purcell

Sanity, the least of my longings.
For I bleed and breathe
the crimson chaos,
An internal chaos
for I could never wish another harm
But my bones crave mutiny
in this business park prison,
I crave escape
from these logical restraints
I thirst to feel
beyond these senses,
A lunatic peacemaker
wanting to tear down the only infrastructure he knows.
