Being the side character

Realizing that I'm not the

kind of person who has people,

I'm the person people have. 

I'm not meant to be loved, 

i'm meant to love.

I'm not meant to be supported,

I'm meant to be supportive. 

I'm not meant to be anything

more than the person who's 

there when other people needs

them. I'm the person who people

only reach out to when they need someone.

I'm the side character.

Some people are just caregivers...always there of others but never the main focus. We help others deal with the focus being on them.

Gosh, I really like this one. The feeling of only being around for someone else, not for myself, is disturbingly common. Fittingly, the side character; the relief for the real stars of the show.
