Written when I felt lonely. Hope you can relate to me and that my feelings got through to you(:

HOME.

I meandered down the abandoned streets,

Finding my heart an empty shell.

With every step I took,

I realized that my heart had

Less than nothing.

 

Alone there I stood,

Frozen in time,

Feet nailed to the ground,

Refusing to move.

Pointless clouds of gray

Hovered over my head

Masking the entire sky.

Merciless to leave a

SIngle hope for me.

Exhausted, numb, and forlorn,

My knees reached the impenetrable ground

Surrendering to everything.

 

I cry and I screamed.

I yelled at the world for

Ignoring me.

I screamed at every single person

For mocking me.

And most of all

I got frustrated at myself

For being so weak

And for not finding the courage

That they all have.

 

I cry and I screamed.

Longing for someone

Who would streach out their arms

And welcome me into their

Home.
