A Sad Love Story

Written when someone told me that the person she loves is always gone.

A SAD LOVE STORY.

 

As I lift up my eyes,

Shoulders heavy with burden,

Dark circles beneath my eyes,

And my soul sold to the devil,

I told my self that it was just never

Meant to be.

This love of mine.

 

Crystal tears drop  from my eyes

Like unfaithful love,

Running down my cheeks

And vanishing into

The empty eternity.

 

 

I am forever yours.

I am in love with this poem. Have you sent out read request of this one? I plan too. I love the tension that appeared and then the vulnerability at the end. "I am forever yours" To tell a story or a scene in such few short words is truly the gift a writer must have. You have IT! Thanks for sharing.
