I’m Trying

I am trying to find the sunshine

Because this thunder and lighting

Has my heart and soul torn

Days come and days go

Some days are easier than others

But I am trying

Just as I think I see the sun starting to peak

Clouds run in and it’s dark and starts to rain

And the tears fill my eyes and yet again there is that pain

Then as soon as the clouds come they go

And there is sunshine again

It’s a constant battle

But I am trying
