Nostalgia.

Nostalgia.

A Story by Marl Ignatius

"See me there, I'll wait."
"Call me now, I'll answer."

"Text me later, I'll reply."
"Dear, are you still there?"
"I need you."
These were my responses to her but I received nothing. Not even a short message or a missed call. I shrilled to the bone. I felt bad and ignored. I was disrespected.
I ran fast though the rain kept on pouring to go back to our meeting place while crying. I couldn't feel anymore my body, I felt numb.
I looked to the sky and inhaled deep.
"Will you still come to see me?" I said.

I looked down and saw a white tablet written her name on the grass with flowers all over. It was three years already but everything was still fresh and alive. I knelled on the grass.

"Please, Lord, bring back the old times." I whispered.
