Insomnia

Insomnia

A Poem by M.J. Gamboa.
"

4:55 A.M. and no sleep at all.

"

I can't sleep.

My mind Is being too loud.

I haven't sleep in days.

Everything is spinning around
and before you even know
i'm already on the ground.

My eyes
have dark circles under them,
as sign of
how many sleepless nights I have spent.

One hundred histories develop in my mind.
One hundred ideas get stuck in my mind.

But they will never survive long enough
to see the outside world.

I've been thinking,
thinking too much,
about everything
and nothing.

I try and try
but no sleep at all.

My world suddenly becomes a blur.
As I fall down of the floor.

I've been thinking too m u c h.

And for far too l o n g.
