Trigger Words

Trigger Words

A Poem by Magic_nat
"

This is a poem about people who use trigger words for attention or to be funny.

"
Today we had a Science test.
My classmate told me that
she was so nerveous, she thought
she was going to have an anxiety attack.
She laughed and said:
Just kidding, people with
anxiety are just losers
looking for attentioin.
Everyone laughed,
except for the girl who
just had an anxity attack in
the bathroom.

Today we had Physical Education.
My friend carefully folded her clothes,
and smiled at me.
Oh my gosh! I am so OCD!
She laughed and strutted
away.
Everyone smiled,
Expet for the girl, who
just took her medicine for
her OCD.

Today we had homework
in English class.
One boy yelled:
This makes me want to kill myself!
Everyone laughed,
except for the boy whose
sister attempted suicide
last year.

Today I rode the bus.
I sat in the back with my friends.
One girl was making
sexual noises.
Moaning and screaming and laughing.
One boy yelled:
It sounds like your getting raped!
Everyone laughed,
except for the 7th grader,
who was sexually abused
by her uncle last year.

Today I went home after school.
I turned on the news.
The boy who had english with
me killed himself.
His note said:
Look whose laughing now.
