Balance

Balance

A Poem by C. MacCormack

I am many mighty things
The seasons change my tides
They brighten and enlighten me
One lesson at a time
My scales striving for balance
Through avenues that wind
While walls are broken and rebuilt
To protect my peace of mind
Flowers blossom, weeds will die
When special care is given
No force should ever break a man
Unless given his permission.

About
Writing has always been therapeutic to me. Speaking my emotions is harder than spilling them onto paper with pen. I also write small stories for my children. more..
