Its not about meetings and deals
That you don't pick up my phone
It's about priority you give me.
I know you desire me, love me,
Whom you don't want to lose.
But what about our needs?
You might not need me much,
But I do, As much earth needs light,
My soul needs you.
As a patient needs his family,
I need you.
I need those long silent walks,
But not muteness throughout.
I need not talk day and night,
But when we do, it be meaningful.
I need you to know real me,
But not what I appear to be.
I need you to understand me,
But not simply think you do
Because you don't.
I don't know what I mean to you
But you have become a part of me,
And the other half is diseased.
Only love cannot cure it,
It needs care attention and time
From you.
