Love

Love

A Poem by Manali

Foolish child,

To think you could win

This battle that many

Have lost before you.

Audacious fool,

To step into the fire

With that tender skin,

Now raw and curled.

I had warned you, sweet child,

I'm not to be trifled with.

I burn from the inside;

Relentless and invisible.

You see me as

Pink hearts and violin melody.

But that is just bait

To lure virgin souls

For me to feed on.

I got Goosebumps, 1st line which I read and I thought Yes! this one is pretty love related. It left me speechless Manali. This poem got 4 Para's and they are simple against it.
Its battle of hate-rate and avoidance. Properly carried and explained.
Wish, In future I would write something like this. I'm inspired and really enjoyed it!

Thank you so much dear :)
Cheers!
