Secrets of the sun

Secrets of the sun

A Poem by Mandie

As the sun sets,
Love unfolds its secrets
Only in darkness,
Reality becomes intense
At first you deny such beauty,
Wanting it to be non-admissibility
Then butterflies shoot like stars in a beating
Of the heart who knows well the truth
Denying begins to sadden you
Ignoring the echo in your head,
Feeling guilty as enthusiasm takes lead
Now like strangers passing by,
Things turned out to be a lie
With a delightful stir,
You fell into the sweetest thrill above all
You taste the rosy lips
Your new world overtakes every single fear
Forgetting when last you shed a tear
Everyday your left electrified,
With the one you admire right by your side
Till at night you lay and doubts begin,
To crawl under your skin
But the marvel of joy reminding you
Of the dream you wished were true
Saddened by the past, jerking you back
Remorseful, that your desire had such lack
Tears faint the phenomenon last sun beam,
Staring helpless at the end of your dream
