Evaporation of Lake Jake

My friend Brittney was going out with my other friend Jake and they broke up, well they got back together after this poem was made. This is about he loss.

Love can be unbearably sad

But don’t lose it and get mad

I know you love my friend Jake

But he is like a lake

And all good things must leave

But as long as you believe

You can find yourself peace

Hiding in more than one piece

Just look between your fingers

Every memory internally lingers

Even you will again know love

But it’s around you thereof

There’s someone out there for you

You just have to think it’s true
