Semi-Romance Poem

I have this strong emotion

I believe she's called, Love

It comes with devotion

I just don't know

What to do with it

There's something here

Stopped by fear

Slowing my pace

Making this a race

What is it

That I hide from

Hitting the bottom of the pit

Drunk off of aged rum

Somethings looks me in my eye

And it stares

All other emotions die

How could I dare

You are above me

Out of my league

I live in poverty

And walk with fatigue

You walk with elegance

Something that most people can't

Makes you a better candidate

For someone who believes in uniqueness

I just don't see my relevance

You want my love as you rant

So I ask, will you be my date

Or shall I shamble in sadness

You show me heights

That I only dream of

for people don't normally care

For the little guy

Making me an outsider

And friends, just acquaintances

For I'm in the majority minority

Where people don't look

For pain release, I drink pints

And dream of my love

For that, I hope we share

For the limit is the sky

I know I'm a poetry writer

And alone in quiet tenses

I have low favorability

Which leaves me alone and shook

People all around

And I'm still alone

But our gaze is bond

And my sins will atone
