She had an eye for it, he knew how to lie for it, together they made a team.
They devised a plan, this women and man, would steal the American Dream. He could talk, she had a walk, that would quell a brawling room. They made a pact to pull it off, or together meet their doom. But when he woke, there was revealed a choke, a note beside the bed. Alone again, broken dreams, questions filled his head. He told one lie, she said goodbye, now two hearts are dead. In his talent he found a flaw, he didn’t know the truth.
