A Poem by MIDNIGHT ROSE

In the coldest of winters...
In the middle of the night...
The darkness all around;
no hint of moonlight...
I stand at my window,
Staring ahead, staring at nothing,
trying to erase memories from my head...
Memories of passion, memories of love...
Memories that will soon be no more...
In the coldest of winters...
In the middle of the night,
darkness all around,
no hint of moonlight...
I stand at my window...
No longer staring,
closing my eyes...
no longer caring...

Are all of us women in the same emotional boat?
This is most unfortunate.

Nicely written, thank you for the request to read it.
