Don’t Cry Little Butterfly

Don’t Cry Little Butterfly

A Poem by Maria.writes
"

Hi! I wrote this poem at a young age, I actually wanted it to be a song lyrics but it fits good as a poem, too, I think... So, I thought why not share it.

"
Hello beautiful blue sky
I must be dreaming cause now I can fly
Birds are singing and I am too high
But soon I'll have to say goodbye
Don't cry little butterfly
I'll come back to see your eyes

My heart's beating faster every time
I fall asleep at night
Now I need to find a rhyme
The sky looks so bright in the twilight
I hope they will be alright
Cause it's so cold outside
And as I keep dreaming
I can see angels flying

Please don't cry little butterfly
I'll come back to see your eyes
I’ll always be by your side
We'll fly together in the twilight
Please don't cry, please don't cry
Don't cry little butterfly
