Afflicting kisses

Afflicting kisses

A Poem by Maria

When his lips spoke to her
All other touches seemed to be impertinent,
Afflicting kisses, affronting promises
Made her fatigue entity search distances.
She was locked in a fantasy
Straying within the eyes that never closed to conceal dishonesty,
She believed that love would find her
She did not know the kisses would be different.
