Thinking of you

Thinking of you

A Poem by Mariana

So I've liked you,

thought about you,

mostly only talk about you,

and well, this tends to be 100% true....

Sometimes, I pick up a pen

and want to write something

about this feeling that

comes to me, when I'm thinking of you....

But I guess that

what I feel can't be expressed

with words....

But if not with words...

then with what?

I can't just dream with you

every night!

sometimes, the only person

I want to talk to ...

is you...

sometimes, I feel like holding your hand.

I know I have to restrain myself.

But it's so hard....

To stop thinking of you

is like not listening to music....

You're my music

my rhythm,

my thoughts,

and the thumping of my heart.

In order to laugh..

I need you there...

but how can i smile

when you aren't here.....

Why smile

if there's no one to see

your smile??

I need you...

like a surfer needs a wave,

like a bird needs a sky

and like a cheetah needs a field.

I love you....

and I can't stop thinking of you

for one millisecond.....

Love me back...

is all I ask

of you....
