The Lonely Seaman

The Lonely Seaman

A Poem by Mark Alexander Boehm
"

Love as an ocean... Cliche, but with endless possibilities.

"
I'd rather you f**k my body
Than my heart.
Probably should've
Told you that from the start.
Didn't mean to tow you out
To the deep end
Just to cut the tie
And watch you sink.
You're not the first,
You won't be the last.
My own Bermuda Triangle,
This sea of wrecked lovers is vast.
My body is yours,
But my love is mine.
You can dance on the border
But better not cross that line.
I'm a lonely man,
And that's just fine.
