Incubus

Incubus

A Poem by Reptar
"

"Incubus" - a demon in male form who, according legend, lies upon sleepers. The homeless man in the Poem DID assault me in three different occasions during my childhood. No Bullshit.

"

Woke up from a nap that came with a nightmare.
Haven't had one since '98 when my mom would be right there.
Oh s**t, Blood poured from my nose.
I feel a bruise on my throat.
& I'm pretty sure these are cuts on my arms.
I hear a booming loud moan.
actually more like a grunt or a groan.
Softly he said "Let me lick the blood of your arms"
Maniacal deep laughter followed that rang through my head.
I know it sounds cliche but he crawled out under my bed.
He's a bit hard to describe.
A hobo looking guy with pitch black dark eyes.
He struggled to get out but managed to do it so slowly.
Once he was out, Smile so wide, as he limped his way towards me.
He reached for my leg as he yelled out "You will die in your sleep"
And then he proceeded to start & tried to rape me?
F**k, I know it sounds weird.
And a bit gay or too queer.
But At the time that how it felt.

I mean, he had his legs wrapped around mine.
His arms on my thigh.
And I didn't know s**t. I was only seven or nine.
I cried for my Mom.

He just laughed & laughed and my face just turned warmer.
He covered my eyes.
His hands we're so dry.
& asked do I want it to be over?
I tried to scream yes but he covered my mouth.
"Oh dear, I don't hear a Yes. So technically I guess that Your mine now"
He laughed again but I tried to calm down.
"I'll tell you how you'll die. Little soul that is mine, I'll rip you apart and suck the blood out your heart & make sure you cry blood drops"
My heart sank.
