Time

Time

A Poem by Marlon

I sit and stare at the world moving fast
Everything is burning as fast as ash
Behind a door where the Clock just tics
I sit and watch my life long flicks
Where will I go if I fail
On top of the world there is no scale
Heart of a lion on my journey
Tears of a mother with so much worry
As it all passes your standing still
The time reflex on your own will
It eats you up mouth of a beast
Searching hard yet no peace
Time has no end or begging
You let it pass as your learning
Flee this world to never look back
Never return there is nothing here
A world so dead and filled with fear
Time is silent it cannot hear
