Love Me Again, Sweetheart

Love Me Again, Sweetheart

A Poem by Poet Pittinix
"

This is a sad poem about a lost love.

"

For Stacy-Ann

I want you to love me again, sweetheart.

Let me come back and fulfil the promises I made.

We haven’t seen each other for a long time.

And I need you more than the air I breathe.

Baby, please pardon my errors and take me back.

I trust that your heart still longs for my love,

And your lips are still tender and sweet.

If I dropped in, would you be glad to see me?

Would you greet me joyously like you used to do?

Will you run towards me smiling when you see me?

We had so much love for each other.

I didn’t expect our liaison to end the way it did.

You’ve loved me before, so you can love me again.

Say you’ll love me again, sweetheart.

Let me relish in the warmth of your embrace,

And die in the comfort of your love.

Do you miss me as much as I miss you?

I want to feel your welcoming touch once more.

Stacy, I want back the romance we had.

Most of all, tell me the words, “I’m yours” again.

You know that my love for you is still alive.

I’ve got a love that will always be here.

Rekindle the love for me that filled your heart.

Just love me once again, sweetheart.

Love me even with a fraction of your love.

And our love will shine brighter than ever before.
