We Separated a Long Time Ago

We Separated a Long Time Ago

A Poem by Poet Pittinix
"

This is the blues.

"

It’s been ages since we decided to live apart.

I want to hold your hip and kiss your lips.

Please return to me, my sweet little princess.

Darling, it would be so good to have you back.

I still have your number, and I know that it’s active,

But I don’t think I’m going to call you again.

The last time I called, you hang up the phone.

You bruised my pride, and I felt so ashamed.

Laurielle, we separated a long time ago.

I last laid eyes on you when you were injured.

My heart doesn’t stop yearning for you.

When will you bring happiness into my life?

I tore up the two old pictures of you that I had.

Now I vaguely remember your appearance.

I deeply regret that I didn’t keep the pictures,

For I can’t see your face anymore, and I miss your love.
