Haters of the Truth

Haters of the Truth

A Poem by Poet Pittinix
"

This is a poem about people with evil intent.

"

You commend the poet with flattery when you agree with what he writes,

But you make disdainful comments when you disagree with his work.

You challenge his writing because you have bad intentions towards him.

Furthermore, you raise nonsensical points to anger and entrap the writer.

The poet would rather not have conversations with evil-minded people.

On many occasions, you dissent to the views of the poet and create confusions.

You deliberately misrepresent the poet’s arguments to mislead the readers.

The people who oppose the work of the poet are haters of the truth.

You like to read fantasies about pigs building houses and a cat playing a fiddle,

But you do not want to hear the truth about the black slaves on the plantation.

The cruel slavers overworked, raped, lashed, and murdered the black slaves.

Go and question your proud leaders and teachers about your dark history.

You cannot corrupt the poet because he does not want your money.

He is content with eating dumplings with butter and drinking sugar and water.

The wealth that you have robbed and murdered to attain will destroy you.

No enemy of the writer will ever succeed in eliminating his literatures.
