Little Things

Little Things

A Poem by Chris Needham
"

A poem I wrote when I was really really young but that I still love now, I think this would make a good picture book!

"

Little Things

I bet to a flea a puddle is the sea.

I bet to a bug a hanky is a rug.

I bet to a mouse a shoe box is a house.

I bet to a fly a blue ceiling is the sky.

I bet to a caterpillar a toy ape is a gorilla.

I bet to a spider a kite is a hang glider.

I bet to a snail a cough is a gale.

Then how can it be that such little things frighten me?
