When It's Night-Time

When It's Night-Time

A Poem by Maroon Surreal

The black smoke starts to taint the blue skies

It is night-time again

The streets would get darkened by deep blue

Violets reflect too

The time when people would rest, would sleep

For others, to weep

And for me to seek

For the time I cannot find in daylight.

Wide awake all night

While my loved ones sleep tight

No attempts of waking them

I won't try to bother

For I am contented alone

'Til dawn, I'm up

'Til the morning's sunlight have shown.

Maroon Surreal

Candles and fading sheets, I write my heart of bits. I write poems and other short stories. Really short stories. I'm still learning and willing to learn more, read more and write more. I like .. more..
