Skies Of Black Crimson

Skies Of Black Crimson

A Poem by Honey-Bee
"

This is a picture of war and the end times

"

Skies of black crimson

The sky of black crimson darkens my vision
smells of rotted flesh fill my nostrils
Noise and loud blasts sting my ears
Ears that are going deaf
Smoke and blood shed everywhere
Red moon at night
black crimson sun by day
prayers that bounce off
An eternally black crimson sky.

I enjoyed this one - a poem filled with darkness. There was an element of fantasy in it that i enjoyed. The idea of "black crimson" is a curious one. It's almost visual enough to picture - I'm not sure if you meant the sun as a black disk with a red outline and red skies with black clouds. Or perhaps the reverse for both... But it certainly created the idea in my mind, along with the image of a mournful wanderer, walking alone in a place of death and decay. Keep writing...

Thanks KL Goode! Yes, It was a dark description and thank you for the feed back and corrections of blasts.

A dark and descriptive vision of disaster and the end of everything. Should blast have an "s" on the end?
