Beauty is pure

Beauty is pure

A Poem by Honey-Bee

Beauty and purity are equal
Yet there is only One who is pure
There is no sequel

Oh! people have tried to fasten an image
And often felt it was so true and sure
But in the end it crumbled and caused people to be timid

Beauty and the beast cannot compete
Images like mirrors soon crack they are not pure
In the heart of the people the beast will soon take a back seat

The volcano is bubbling up
The beast is trying his hardest to endure
While he offers to all his death cup

Some will drink the death cup
Other will follow the light and be reassured
And will soon drink the grace cup

The beast will wallow and wilt in his pride
Everything about him is impure
Everything about him is cracking and he wants to hide
