Seven

Seven

A Poem by Honey-Bee
"

I always had a liking for the number seven and then I soon found out that eight was Jesus number and now I like that number too.

"
Number seven
Took me to heaven
But when I met eight
I continued in a happy state
Number 888, like the  great I Am, Is eternal
Now I am escaping the hell I once held internal
888 is said by some to represent the way, the truth, and the life
Follow it and put away your strife
Eight carried me around and around
With no beginning or end,
On this roller coaster I was found
A roller coaster of valleys and mountains
On his mountain of praise I drank from his fountain
And like a gazelle I  descended with a leap to a valley of people
And taught them about Jesus and erected a church and steeple
Then back up to praise mountain to be in the presence of His love
Whose heart and life came directly from above
He laid his life down and He said I would too
Then back up to heaven with his angels He flew.

Number 8 is supposed to represent Jesus. I like the number eight because it has no beginning or end.

Seven and forty being sacred numbers to Judaic thought, I had known 8 as the infinity number. You expressed a concept you hold dear and that emotion became obvious with the reading. Well done.

Great poem, very in-depth and philosophical. Also, if you turn 8 on it's side, it's the symbol for infinity.
