OUR EYES

OUR EYES

A Poem by Mary Fioratti

OUR EYES

our eyes speak

in pure silence

full of words

guessing the thoughts

assuming moments

stripping themselves naked of fear

our eyes save

so many unforgettable moments

recorded in the retina

stamped on the soul

perpetuated in the joys

of a daily routine

our  eyes are twins

in intuition, in feeling

in capturing the right moment

in caring for each other

in sensing danger

in the joy of reunion

our eyes can see

each other even at a distance

they are so transparent and true

that even closed , by sensing the soul

they are tireless guardians

of our love

Beautifully expressed. The eyes are all that you proclaim them to be. This is a tender, poetic piece. Very good indeed.

Eyes can speak, feel and sense a lot- they are the gifted God-given organs to perceive Love...beautiful concept well presented, Mari

Parallel wavelengths can lead to classic music...a nice way to live.

Well done...!

I've never read such a profound expression focused on just the eyes, you have sensually and lovingly described the strong connection of locked penetration eye to eye...
