The U.S. Citizenship and Immigration Services (USCIS) recently published a final rule to adjust certain immigration and naturalization benefit request fees. As per this rule, starting April 1, 2024, there will be a fee increase for all H-1B filings.
This article outlines the adjusted fees for all H-1B petitions and applications, spanning businesses of diverse sizes and compositions.

Major Fee Adjustments

Form I-129, Petition for a Nonimmigrant Worker: Employers with fewer than 25 employees will maintain the base I-129 filing fee at $460, while those with more than 25 employees will incur a fee of $780.

Asylum Program Fee: Employers with fewer than 25 employees will benefit from a reduced U.S. Asylum Program fee of $300, while those with 25 or more employees will be subject to the standard Asylum Program fee of $600.

Note: The ACWIA fee is not required for second or subsequent H-1B Amendment with Extension petitions. All the other fees remain the same as those of the first petition.

Please be informed that as of February 26, 2024, the Premium processing Fee for all H-1B petitions will increase from $2,500 to $2,805, regardless of employee count.
