I Don't Care

Yes, I can be all lovey dovey.

Yes, I know my poems are there for you to see.

Yes, it can make me shy.

Yes, sometimes it makes me want to crawl in a hole and just die.

But these come from my heart,

Something some people want to tear apart.

But I'm not someone you should sneer at.

I'm not someone to make fun of or jeer at.

I honestly could care less,

why make myself a mess?

Worrying about what people say

is no longer part of my day.

So go ahead and smirk at my love,

I don't care.

This newfound feeling is soaring above.
