Koukla

Koukla

A Poem by Mar

Fear sets in,
Sickening the heart.
Decaying my internals.

Ideas and thoughts are on replay.
I am a broken record.

Cemented to the ground,
My crystal green eyes,
Showing a facade.
Hiding the deteriorating person you see so clearly.
Limbs are being moved by a puppeteer.

Nothing seems as if it is mine.
I get a glimpse of the strings I'm held by,
Not even a squeak can escape from my lips.
Blindfolds are all I see in front of me,
Smiles attached.

How much longer will is last?

Emptiness is setting in.
I want to rest.
I want it to stop, I want to yell,
But this porcelain face, won't grant my plea.
